Chief Jeffrey Hartman

Chief Jeffrey Hartman was appointed Chief of Police for the City of Creve Coeur in July of 2021. He began his career as a Creve Coeur Police Officer in May of 1997. Chief Hartman has held various positions throughout his career including Patrol Officer, Detective, Patrol Sergeant. After being promoted to the rank of Lieutenant, spent time as a commander in the Patrol Division, Investigations Bureau, and the Crime Prevention and Community Policing Unit.

Chief Hartman holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Missouri (Columbia), and a Master’s Degree in Management and Leadership from Webster University. He is a graduate of the 269th session of the FBI National Academy.

Chief Hartman is an active member of several law enforcement organizations including the International Association of the Chiefs of Police, the Missouri Police Chiefs Association, the Missouri Peace Officers Association, and FBI LEEDA.

Chief Hartman has been married for 25 years and has two daughters.
