Vice-Chairman: Chief Chris DiGuiseppi
Chief Chris DiGiuseppi started his law enforcement career in 1991 as a reserve police officer for the City of Wentzville, Missouri and was hired by the Lake Saint Louis Police Department in 1992. During his tenure he has held numerous positions rising through the ranks from patrol officer, D.A.R.E. Officer, Patrol Sergeant, Operations Lieutenant, Captain/Assistant Chief of Police up to his current position where he was appointed as Chief of Police in August of 2017.
Chief DiGiuseppi is a graduate of the FBI National Academy 215th Session and Northwestern University’s School of Police Staff and Command’s, 152nd session. He holds a bachelor’s degree in human resource management and a master’s of business administration from Lindenwood University.
Chief DiGiuseppi currently serves on the executive board of the Missouri Police Chief’s Association as treasurer, the St. Louis Area Police Chief’s Association executive board as Secretary and the LEEPAC/REJIS advisory board as Vice-Chair.
Chief DiGiuseppi is the Board President of the Eastern Missouri Police Academy and on the executive board of Metro West S.W.A.T. Team and St. Charles County Drug Task Force.
As a law enforcement officer for over 29 years, Chief DiGiuseppi has received numerous commendations to include Medals for Life Saving and Meritorious Conduct, several Unit Citations and awards for Distinguished Service.
Chief DiGiuseppi is a published author through HCI Books and True North Publishing. In 2012 he won the Missouri Writer’s Guild Show Me Best Book award and was nominated for the Missouri Humanities Distinguished Literary Achievement Award.
Chief DiGiuseppi volunteers his time as a member of the executive board of Gateway Human Trafficking, a non-profit anti-human trafficking organization which strives to educate the public and help victims of human trafficking. Additionally he volunteers on the safety team at his local church.
Chief DiGiuseppi resides with his wife and children in St. Charles County.
